Many third party SL viewers have an option to use the avatar-baking function of the SL viewer, to upload so-called "temporary" textures to the server, without incurring a 10L$ upload fee. These textures expire after a while, and are only valid on the server they were uploaded within, but this function can be extremely useful, particularly when doing sculpting or other texture based content creation, when you need to "see what it's going to look like" or need to do several iterations before the final version is realized.
Textures that are uploaded using the temp flag should probably have a token placed in their texture name "Sculptie12345" becoming "(temp)Sculptie12345"
Since Radegast is a lightweight client capable of running alongside the SL client, allowing both a main account and an alt to both connect from a single machine, this function would allow Radegast to be used with an alt, to "fill in" some of the third party features for people using the SL viewer for their main accounts, for whatever reason.
